Katie Svoboda-Kindle, Staff Attorney at Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, will share about the Clean Slate Act, a new Pennsylvania law that will automatically seal 30 million criminal cases enabling easier access to employment, housing and schools. Catherine Schultz, Mid-Penn Legal Services’ Managing  Attorney for the Lancaster Medical-Legal Partnership, will present on  the benefits of the Medical-Legal Partnership.  MLPs combine legal advocacy with health care to address the environmental and social factors that impact a patient's health.  https://www.midpenn.org/

The goal of Learning Labs is to explore what  Lancaster and similar communities are doing to promote positive change.  As a follow up to the Health Summit, our current focus of Learning Labs  are social determinants of health.
